First off, you should take a look at the facilities in the hotel. Many times, these hotels can be wholly service based, and will just have the necessary facilities. Make sure that they have all the facilities to make your stay enjoyable!
Next, you should consider their service quality. Most hotels that have been rated 5 stars have a respectable service quality. Albeit that, every once in a while, there is one that hosts services comparable to those found in a rural bar. Read some reviews first before you choose.
While there are lots of other things to look for in your hotel, these two should be your top priorities.

*Muhammad*For those looking for the best luxury hotels, Toronto offers a lot of choices. The city is in the midst of a boom in luxury properties ranging from chic boutiques to large hotels. Many are clustered around popular tourist attractions, including the sports stadium and the entertainment district. The Ritz-Carlton is opening their first Canadian hotel in Toronto soon, which will be a 53-story tower with a gigantic 23000-square-foot spa, near the entertainment district.
The even taller Trump International Hotel and Tower is set to open this spring in the financial district, making it Trump's first Canadian hotel. New-York based boutique hotel chain Thompson Hotels has also opened a 100-room property in the art and design district, it's first international property. The rooftop features a bar lounge, swimming pool with private cabanas and great views of Toronto.

Baha Mar, Caribbean history's biggest single-phase luxury resort development celebrated its construction inauguration with a massive official ceremony yesterday, 21st Feb'11. The 1,000 acre planned luxury resort is worth $3.4 billion and will feature a sprawling gaming and entertainment complex along with super luxury accommodation. The much awaited project is slated to be completed by late 2014 and will include some of the world's biggest luxury hotel brands. The Baha Mar luxury resort is expected to raise the bar and set a new standard for luxury hotels and resorts.
